Philadelphia Wins the 2008 World Series


Last night, after waiting 28 years, the Philadelphia Phillies won the 2008 World Series. 
The Phillies beat the Tampa Bay Rays 4-3 last night after resuming the first ever rain delayed game of a World Series.  The Phillies and their fans had to wait two long days for the suspended game to resume.  They were in the 6th inning when the rain became too much.  Even though they had to wait 2 additional days for the win, it was well worth it.
