Pittsburgh Steelers Ben Roethlisberger Dodges Criminal Charges

Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger of the Pittsburgh Steelers will not be charged in the alleged sexual assault that had occurred in Georgia. However, Roethlisberger may not be as lucky when it comes to the team owners or the NFL.

Roethlisberger can still face some disciplinary action that can come either from the Pittsburgh Steelers, or from the NFL. Roethlisberger had a meeting scheduled with Roger Goodell yesterday to discuss this incident and his behavior off the field. His actions off the field has damaged his reputation and image. The actions have also obviously angered the Pittsburgh Steelers as it reflects directly on them.

The disciplinary actions can range for suspension (experts are figuring 2-4 games), fines, or undergo counseling and rehabilitation. Roethlisberger has already lost one endorsement contract.
