NBA Suspends Boston Celtics Kevin Garnett for Game 2

The NBA playoffs are heating up and one Boston Celtics player has already been suspended.
During the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat game, an altercation ensued near the Miami Bench while Boston's Paul Pierce lay on the floor with an apparent right shoulder injury with 40 seconds left in the game.

During the altercation, Kevin Garnett hit Quentin Richardson in the head with an elbow. Garnett claimed he was just trying to make room for his teammate Pierce. Garnett and Richardson had exchanged words.

Garnett received a one game suspension for his action. The league also fined Richardson $25,000. Boston won the game 85-76.
