There have been some big names being released by NFL teams. We will go through some of that list right now.
The Indianapolis Colts released Brandon Stokley and defensive tackle Montae Reagor. Both players were integral parts of the team that just won the Super Bowl. They were later injured with Stokley rupturing his right Achilles' tendon and Reagor receiving facial injuries during an automobile accident.
The 49er's signed cornerback Nate Clements from the Buffalo Bills for an eight-year $80 million contract. They also signed Michael Lewis (Eagle's safety).
Derrick Dockery (Redskins), Langston Walker (Raiders), and Jason Whittle (Vikings) will be leaving their respective teams and will be joining the Bills.
Surprisingly, the New England Patriots have released running back Corey Dillion. Dillon is 32 years old and is contemplating retirement.
