Norv Turner replaces Schottenheimer as Chargers head coach!

It has become official. Norv Turner, Offensive Coordinator for the San Francisco 49er's, has received his third shot at being a head coach in the NFL. He will immediately take control of the San Diego Chargers, the best team of 2006.
The San Diego Chargers also hired Minnesota Vikings Defensive Coorindator Ted Cottrell to become their very own Defensive Coordinator. After Ron Rivera, Chicago Bears Defensive Coordinator, was released, the Chargers gave him a job also as the linebackers coach. Rivera had also interviewed for the Chargers head coaching position along with several other teams.

With all of these changes, I don't think the Chargers will be as good as they were last year. Now it will be interesting to see which team will pick up Schottenheimer as their head coach.
