Eagle's Coach Andy Reid to take leave of absence

Because of the criminal antics of Andy Reid's kids, Reid will be taking a month long leave of absence from the Philadelphia Eagles. Reid is expected to return sometime in mid-March.

What has the Reid children done to cause this to happen? Well, his oldest son Garrett Reid (23) tested positive for heroin after he caused a traffic accident on January 30. Charges have yet to be filed, but prosecutors are looking at the case. Garrett is facing misdemeanor driving under the influence of a controlled substance.

The second son, Britt Reid (21) was arraigned on drug and weapons charges. Britt is in bigger trouble then Garrett. Britt is accused of pointing a handgun at another driver following a dispute. He faces felony charges of carrying a firearm without a license and misdemeanor charges of lying to authorities, simple assault, terroristic threats, and possession of a controlled substance.

I feel for you Andy, but, you have to look at your job as part to blame. Your job probably kept you away from home the majority of the time when the kids were growing up, and because of that, you are now paying for it. Too bad for your family, but look on the bright side, your kids would fit in well with a lot of the NFL players who are thugs also.
